War of Armageddon fact or fiction

 Third point:

According to what is stated in the Bible, the battle of Armageddon will be won by Jesus, peace be upon him, and in the final battle, Christ, with his divine power, will defeat the Dajjal and the false prophet and throw them into the lake of fire, and the devil will live for 1000 years. The year in the thousand-year reign of Christ on earth will be enclosed in a pit. (11) Therefore, according to the teachings of Christianity, the last great war will happen at the time of the resurrection and the return of Christ to the world.

In addition to the New Testament, citing verses from the Old Testament, they draw a terrifying picture of this apocalyptic battle in the form of its true and not allegorical meaning. In this image, God speaks of a harsh revenge against his enemies and Israel, and promises to drink the blood of world leaders and eat the meat of warriors after slaughtering them (such as rams, lambs, and goats). (12)

 Fourth point:

From a comparative point of view, some believe that the Armageddon they are talking about is the same great event that will occur before the appearance of the Mahdi Ajjalullah Ta’ala Farjah, the same great event that our imams have called the “Battle of Kirghizia” (13).

For example, in a narration attributed to Imam Baqir (peace be upon him) about the connection between the battle of Kirghisia and Sufani’s departure, it is stated that:

Sufyan’s troops will pass through Kirghizia and fight there, so a hundred thousand oppressors will be killed there. Then Sufyan sends an army to Kufa, whose number reaches seventy thousand people”. (14)

Imam Baqir (peace be upon him) is quoted in Sahih al-Masir who said:

“O Miser, how far is it from here to Kirghisa”? I said: “It is located nearby on the Euphrates coast.” Then they said: “But in this area, an event will happen that was unprecedented when the Almighty God created the heavens and the earth, as long as the heavens and the earth are standing, an event like that will not happen… It is a table where the beasts of the earth and let the birds of the sky be satisfied with it”. (15)

As a result, from a comparative point of view, the battle of Kirghisia, which is one of the signs of the emergence of Imam Zaman, may be considered as the final battle of Armageddon.
