Translation of volume 1 of the Book of Ghadir

I woke up and saw that it was almost the morning call to prayer. I got dressed and rented a car. I went to Karbala.

It was near sunrise, I was sitting in the courtyard of the shrine, once I met the preacher Sheikh Mohsen Abulhab, who was from the Khatbai of Karbala, he greeted me and invited me to his house to rest and have breakfast, I agreed and went with him.

We went to the library, I saw that it is a good library, I used to walk around the library and check the books… For a while, I found what I lost and found the book “Rabi al-Abrar”.

I cried, Sheikh Mohsen came and asked me why I was crying.

I quoted the case. He wept when he heard the case and took the book from me, then he took out his pen and wrote, this book will be given as a gift to Allama Amini, and he said, this is the answer to the transfer of two imams. Amir al-Mu’minin and Imam Hussein.

To better understand the translation, I need to explain some terms.

Rahba Manashdeh:

One day, Hazrat Ali (A.S.) gathered the people of Kufa in the city square to prove his righteousness and made them swear that each one of them was present on the day of Ghadeer and they personally heard from the Prophet that he is the guardian of the believers, that they should rise up that 17 People sprinkled and testified.

Aya Sal Sa’il:

The verse of Sa’ala Sa’il or the verse of real punishment (Surah Ma’araj: 1 and 2) is about the request of punishment by an unbeliever from God. According to the commentators, after this request, a stone fell from the sky on the head of the person asking for punishment and he was killed.

Shia commentators have considered the revelation of this verse to be the story of Nu’man bin Harith Fahri’s protest against the announcement of the succession of Imam Ali (a.s.) in the Ghadir incident.
